We’ve been working hard on a refreshed version of QMS Navigator, formerly known as Accreditation Manager. In this update, we focused on three key areas:
- Enhanced usability
- Improved speed
- Increased security
We’re excited to offer you access to these updated tools starting next week. Here’s a preview of some of the biggest changes. Please note, there are over 500 new features and improvements across the application, so it’s impossible to list everything here.
Overall Changes The first thing you’ll notice when you log in is a redesigned user interface. We’ve streamlined navigation by moving all options to a top menu bar, making it easy to find the tools you need without hunting through icons or menus.
The entire site is also more responsive and faster than before. We’ve rewritten the application using modern tools built for the future, allowing us to introduce new features to QMS even faster.
Additionally, we’ve reimagined the setup and configuration process to make QMS a better fit for your organization. No more guessing which settings apply to which modules.
Module Changes We’ve updated the Assets, Audits, Corrective Actions, Documents, and Meetings modules. Each module now shares a consistent user interface and design. Once you’ve used one module, the others function in the same way—no need to relearn behaviors as you navigate between them. We’ve also extended Sites and Tags across all modules. You can now restrict records to specific user groups based on their associated sites. And with the new “All Sites” feature, you can create read-only items accessible to everyone in your organization.
We’re particularly excited about the upgraded Corrective Action module. This module can now be customized to track any processes specific to your organization. For example, if you have a unique work order process tied to customer requests, we can create custom forms to help you track that information.
Our training, service providers, and pending actions features will also be updated to this new format by mid-January 2025.
We’ve updated our documentation and will continue to expand it through the end of the year. Here are a few helpful links:
What’s Next We have a lot more planned between now and early 2025. Here are just a few upcoming updates to QMS and the Customer Portal:
- New Training, Service Providers, and Pending Actions modules
- Ability to create Corrective Actions directly from ILC-PT or Intra in the Customer Portal
- PT Plan Notifications in your Customer Portal
- And much more...
As the only non-profit proficiency testing provider, we’re here to support you. These updates are based on your feedback, and we’re committed to making Proficiency Testing easier for you.
There is no change to the login process or your username and password as part of this update. You can access QMS Navigator at
